I don't usually tell anyone it's my birthday, but my dear friend Essie was going to scold me

if I didn't, so...well...today is my birthday.

Now a little thought from me...

Well, another year has gone by for me and it’s funny, but I feel the same as I have always felt…not older and wiser, just me. It’s funny how even though we grow up and become adults and then enter into middle age (yikes! Did I just say “middle age”????!!!

), we are still the same person we always were. I can still think of myself as a child and remember things through those eyes

…feelings and thoughts I had. It’s strange to think of myself as grown up with children of my own. (OK , I don’t always act grown up…LOL

). The thing that has really changed is time…yes, I know you ask, “Time? How can that change? It is not something anyone can change.” But that isn’t true, time is different now that I am in my 40’s. Time is fleeting and quick.

I look at my kids and can’t believe how old they are now, I mean, where did the time go? I’ve been married almost 14 years and it seems like only yesterday that I said “I do”. But when I was a kid, it took ages until Santa Claus

came with presents and that speech I had to say in front of the class went on forever and ever and ever…I didn’t think I would ever “grow up”, so I could drive a car…LOL. Now I just want to stay at home and read

. I like to sit, yes, sit...when did that happen? What is that age when you just like to sit down?

Maybe that is the reason I love DA so much, I get to sit down to look at it…LOLOLOL…Well, enough about me, I want to show you some amazing work that I have seen here in the past month since my last journal. Enjoy!
